RFID Card Information
Ski Big Bear introduced an access card containing an RFID chip during the 2020/21 winter season to replace paper tickets. Your season pass or lift ticket is loaded onto a card containing RFID microchip technology.

Ski Big Bear introduced an access card containing an RFID chip during the 2020/21 winter season to replace paper tickets. Lift tickets are loaded electronically onto this RFID access card. The card is scanned by either a scanner or a gate at the lifts. The card can be reloaded online with future tickets, which allows for direct to lift access. Tubing tickets can only be purchased online or at a ticket window. We cannot sell tubing tickets over the phone. We strongly recommend purchasing online in advance as tubing sessions do tend to sell out quickly, and many times tickets are not available day of.
Yes, please register online and set a password for future purchases. This will allow us to better serve you at the mountain when you arrive.
We accept reservations for Private Lessons over the phone. Please call 570-226-8585 to make reservations at least a day in advance of the lesson you wish to take. Same day reservations are not accepted over the phone. If you would like to book a Private Lesson on the day of your visit, come see us at a ticket window and we will provide you with the next available lesson. Group lessons can be purchased when you arrive at the mountain. They cannot be purchased online or in advance. Visit a ticket window on the day you wish to participate and we will assign you to the next available lesson.
If you don’t have your own skis or snowboard, we have equipment available for rent onsite. Helmets are also available to rent. For more information on rentals, click here.
Yes. Everyone regardless of age and ability level is required to have a valid lift/area use ticket to access any terrain and any lift on the mountain.
