COVID-19 Policies

Our top priority at Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain is the health and safety of our staff and our guests. We are committed to maintaining our operations responsibly and have developed additional safety policies in response to COVID-19, including the implementation of stringent standards of cleanliness. Our policies and procedures are developed with guidance and knowledge from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Pennsylvania State Health Dept. We will be adjusting our policies and operations as things change. Currently, we are not planning to place restrictions on passholders or require an advance reservation. Click here to read more.

Due to skiing and riding being such a good way for people to get outside and enjoy family recreation during the time of COVID, and also the implementation of safety procedures and capacities, Ski Big Bear is experiencing longer processing times at our sales window and rental shop. An additional challenge is finding staff who are comfortable working during the pandemic, and keeping our employees at work as they and their family members follow COVID-19 mitigation recommendations and mandates. Please know we are doing everything possible to work through these challenges to continue to offer our services and we apologize in advance for delays. Purchasing tickets and rentals online, including entering all information required, will help the process, but there still can be a delay in processing your products.
