Friday Night Family Night

Ski Big Bear is once again happy to announce the return of our Friday Night Family Nights... where full time families and students in our local school districts can take advantage of discounted lift tickets and rentals from 4pm - 9pm on Friday nights beginning on January 19th, 2024. Lift tickets are $20 and rental packages are $25. Families/students can create an account and purchase online here or visit a ticket window. A valid school ID or driver license will be requested when picking up or purchasing tickets onsite.‍

This event will start January 19th, 2024 and will run through the end of the season. There are two blackout dates: February 16th and 23rd, 2024.

Snow Days

If your school district closes due to snow, come ski & ride with us for a discounted "Snow Day" lift ticket rate. Visit us at a ticket window onsite to redeem.

You must show your student ID or driver license. Only available on days when your school district closes due to snow / weather.

Lake Region Ski Club

Only for Permanent Residents in the Wallenpaupack, Delaware Valley or Wayne Highlands School Districts

We will be offering reduced rates on lift tickets and rentals on select Thursdays and Sundays for the Lake Region Ski Club. Participants must be permanent residents in the Wallenpaupack, Delaware Valley or Wayne Highlands School Districts. The cost is $22 for a Thursday lift ticket, $26 for a Thursday rental package, $48 for a Sunday lift ticket, and $38 for a Sunday rental package.

The ski rental package includes skis, boots, poles, and a helmet. The snowboard rental package includes a snowboard, boots, and a helmet. Helmets are required for our school groups and are available to be rented separately for $15 if you do not need a full rental package.

One First-Time Beginner Group Lesson is provided to very first-timers. Participants in the group lesson must be at least 6 years of age.

Everyone 18 and older will need their own Ski Big Bear Account to make purchases and sign rental waivers, if applicable. Anyone under 18 will need to have a parent register for an account and add the child via the Party Member tab to sign waivers on the child's behalf. Registration can be taken care of in advance online.

Tickets and rentals are available for purchase here. Please share this link only with members of the Lake Region Ski Club. Participants must be permanent residents in the Wallenpaupack, Delaware Valley or Wayne Highlands School Districts. A valid school ID or driver license will be requested when picking up or purchasing tickets onsite.

Everyone needs their own RFID card to ski/snowboard. Anyone who has an RFID card from the 2021-2022 season or later can reuse the card this season and lift tickets will be automatically loaded onto it. Anyone who does not have one should choose the option to add an RFID card upon their first purchase and a $5 media fee will be applied. Scan the barcode at the top of the confirmation email at the Pickup Box near the ticket window to receive the RFID card. If you are a returning visitor who needs a replacement RFID card, choose the option to add an RFID card with your ticket purchase and pick up your new card at the ticket window.
