Mark Absalom is the PSIA-AASI 2023 Snowsports Leader of the Year!
This prestigious award was inspired by Einar Aas, Ron Kubicki, Freddie Anderson, Dave Merriam, and all the amazing leaders who have impacted and shaped the snowsports industry in the Eastern Region. This award is presented to an outstanding snowsports school director/manager for maintaining the highest standards in snowsports school management, their outstanding dedication to their instructors, commitment to their school, contributions to our organization (both regionally and nationally), and impact on the snowsports industry.

Born and raised in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Absalom is a life-long ski instructor and promoter of snow sports, with over 40 years’ experience in Snow Sports management and started with Ski Big Bear at Masthope Mountain in November 2021. Please join us in congratulating Mark!
