Season Rental Returns & Renewals

Returning or renewing your equipment at the end of the season:

All equipment rented for the 2025-2026 season must be returned or renewed for the 2026-2027 season by March 31, 2026. Season rentals will be available for renewal starting on March 1st. Ski Big Bear will accept rental returns at any time the ski area is open for the remainder of the ski season. Ski Big Bear will also accept returns on every Saturday and Sunday in the month of March (regardless of if the mountain is open for skiing/riding) between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Any equipment not returned or renewed by March 31st (unless arrangements are made by March 1st) will result in the loss of the deposit and an advance deposit will be required for the following season.

If you are renewing any equipment for the following season (2026-2027), it must be returned to the rental shop prior to the equipment's first use of the 2026-2027 season for inspection, testing, and tuning. It is your responsibility to bring the equipment to the rental shop for this service. Equipment will be accepted for testing and tuning starting November 1, 2026. Any renewed equipment from the 2025-2026 season not brought to the rental shop for inspection, testing, and tuning during the 2026-2027 season will be subject to a $50 surcharge in renewal fees for the 2027-2028 season.

Arranging to Return Equipment Outside of Dates/Times Listed Above: Requests to return equipment on dates and times other than those listed above must be requested in writing via email (bigbear@ski-bigbear.com) by March 1, 2026 and a $20 per week late fee will apply for each set of equipment not returned or renewed by March 31, 2026. Any equipment not returned or renewed will result in loss of deposit and advance deposit required for the following season.
